Waiting for my 9pm drama & I refuse to touch my books/ finish my report/ prepare for my presentations so I'm here. Oh and running man is loading so slowwwwwwly ugh really hate my internet connection sometimes.

Wanted to blog about my Hongkong trip (because I really wanna go overseas right now :'() but I realized I've too many pictures & I'm quite lazy so... I'll blog about other stuff instead. HAHA.
Anywayyyy, on National day this year:

Bought twelve cupcakes but no one appreciated it :( all so weight-conscious pffffft.

The picnic was quite fail 'cuz we wanted to fly kites but we were not allowed 'cuz of National Day Parade.
So.. we decided to leave early to have dinner & head to Charis's place for movie~

Had dinner at 313 & walked to Charis's place! Yes, this girl lives at Somerset what the heck rich bimboooooo.
Watched two horror movies & cabbed home with Darren at 5am. Ah, miss those random outings we had & the next one with WS will definitely be next year 'cuz the doctor is in UK now :(

We kinda had nowhere to go, so Jerome (another Jerome, hahaha) just parked his car somewhere & we started talking & photo-boothing. Oh and not forgetting blasting of songs~ BUT THEY REFUSED TO PLAY TAYLOR SWIFT. WHY.
Another day out with them to Haji lane! Hahaha 'cuz I kept complaining that I've not been there before and Jerome drove us there again YAY.

The 2nd outing was just yesterday to USS Halloween but i didn't go (even though i bought tix) 'cuz i was still down with food poisoning :( It was damn bad 'cuz i vomited at least 5 times & had diarrhea at least 10 times on Wednesday omfgggggg. Slept the entire day away w/o doing any work at all. :/
Went back to school today (#SMUggers dont enjoy public holidays) to complete the LTB report & this was the scenario. We actually made it to 9gag singapore, guys. LOL
People were sitting at the concourse 'cuz there were no study rooms & benches. My group mate went at 8am to 'chope' a GSR(Group study room) and they were all occupied what the heck. Found out that people actually camped in school with sleeping bags since last night oh gaaaawd.
Left school near 11pm & I'll be heading back there tmr (every day, actually, even on sundays :().
But on the bright side, swimming & some shopping with the girls tomorrow too! :)

Recess week

Hiiiiiii,
been awhile since i posted here and i don't think anyone reads this space anymore hahaha.
Today is the 4th day of recess week but it doesn't feel like it 'cuz I've been heading back to school every day for proj meetings/ to study. My parents were surprised when they found out yesterday that I'm having holidays now lol.
Anyway, today was pretty bad. Like I planned out my stuff and only managed to complete 1/4 of it 'cuz i was too exhausted. Broke down and started being very negative but felt better after napping. So i guess the only thing I've to do right now is to make myself happy, before I start studying again! Guess I've forgotten how important it is to study productively instead of lying to myself that I'm studying when actually i'm just staring into space/thinking about stuff.
School stuff aside, I've been exercising regularly & I'm really proud of myself!
Swam on Sunday, ran at Fort Canning Park on Monday & today, and gym-ed yesterday.
Really love my school 'cuz it's near everywhere. Like SOE is near Dhoby Ghaut, SOB is near City Hall, Admin building is near Bugis and Bras Basar is directly where my school is!
Fort Canning Park is just behind SOA and Somerset is just... 2-3 bus stops away. AWESUMMM, makes shopping a lot more convenient hahaha. Like last Saturday, I went to town to shop and headed to school to study after. :D
I've got lots to blog about actually.. like my hongkong trip/camps/ outings with my uni friends but I'm soooooo lazy heh. Shall continue stalking pretty girls and online shop before I start mugging tomorrow :)

"It's not our job to make others happy"

"It’s impossible to please everybody. And even if it was possible, we shouldn’t try. True that we are meant to make connections throughout our lives; to foster relationships, love and be loved. Too often, though, we get caught up in making those relationships successful, those connections stronger, that we forget about the most fundamental relationship of all: the one we have with ourselves.
We let our own thoughts and desires fall by the wayside to appease others. We tell co-workers we will cover for them even though we have enough on our own plates. We tell our friends that we will help them do X, when they’ve already promised to help us do Y, and we don’t say anything. We hold our tongues to avoid upsetting the people we care about because sometimes the risk of displeasing others is worse than displeasing ourselves. After all, we know how to cope with our own unhappiness; we’ve become experts through a lifetime of saying “yes” when we want to say “no” and “No it’s ok, I understand” when in reality, we don’t.
Despite our best efforts and our usually steadfast notions of our own character, we sometimes let others’ opinions of us dictate what we do, how we think, what we say. If someone expresses dissatisfaction with us, even the strongest people can get caught up in self-critical thoughts. We forget that sometimes, other peoples’ critiques or complaints are their reflections of themselves, their own insecurities, and not of us, and we give more credence to it than we should. We overlook the fact that more often than not, they are telling us their story, not ours."
This article got me thinking. I'm really tired of doing stuff to make people around me happy (hence sacrificing my own happiness). Ie, organizing outings/birthday surprises when no one really gaf. This will be the last time i swear. Time to get my priorities right.
yeap, no. 1 on my list: school.
