When you think that you can never be “good enough”, you allow yourself to settle for second-best. You allow yourself to be second-best. That is extremely selfish of you, because you and I, we’ve been blessed with the lives we have, and at our best, imagine what we can do — not only for ourselves but for the people around us, and for the world. At our best, we pursue an enriching existence and in being our best, we inspire the people around us. Never underestimate how much of an inspiration you are for others. You don’t need to be a celebrity in order to touch lives and trust me when I say this, for my family and friends have inspired me in so many of their little but significant ways.
